Open an account in HSBC Bank

 

（Ⅰ）Establish Co Ltd. (Registered in HK):
1．The documents of opening an account:
　1．1．A copy of Company Registration Certificate counterpart
　1．2．A copy of Business Registration Certificate counterpart
　1．3．A new company:
　　1．3．1．The notice of first secretary and director ( form D1)------- A new company
　　1．3．2．The notice of secretary and director changing(form D2A) --------A new company
　 1．4．Companies which were set up more than one year:
　　 1．4．1．The latest annual returns( annual application form)-------companies which were set up more than one year
　　1．4．2．The notice of secretary and director changing ( form D2A)---companies which were set up more than one year
　　1．4．3．Share distribution form ---------companies which were set up more than one year.
　1．5．Director、Shareholders and authorized person should provide the following files:
　　1．5．1．Shareholder、director’s ID Card(Passports or laissez-passer Between Hong Kong and Macau),if registered by ID Card ,you must bring the original ones ( please make sure that the ID Card is not expired),if registered by Passport, you must bring the passport as well as ID Card.
　　1．5．2．Residential Address Certificate ( such as: the latest three months utility bills、bank statement、effective drive license 、Nationality ID Card etc.)
　　1．5．3．Permanent Residential Address(If you don’t have Hong Kong permanent identity card and you dwelling place address is different from the permanent residential address)
　1．6．Business Certificate:
　　1．6．1．New Business ----- business plan and relevant files ( such as professional license plate or related company business certificate)
　　1．6．2．Existing Business ------- professional license plate、letter of credit、Monthly statement、receipt、contract etc which are audited by Financial Department
　1．7．Power of attorney, to open an account book and printed and signed card:(notice: if the director or authorized person could not attend to open an account, the signature on Power of attorney should be identified by the bank which have business with company.)
　1．8．Meeting Record (it is not necessary)
　1．9．Deposit accounts( HK account----HKD2,000.00 Foreign currency accounts---USD1,000.00 or other equivalent foreign currency)
Suggestion: Please prepare a check as one Hong Kong dollars to open an account deposits.
Notice: Above-mentioned documents should be proved by European Union or the accounts and lawyers of financial action special organization country to confirm that the files which were submitted by director or shareholders are true. Otherwise, Banks do not accept its application to open an account.
2．Director signed in documents personally:
Whatever HK accounts or Domestic offshore accounts, directors should sign in documents personally in order to protect the shareholders benefit. So we will remind clients that whether company directors and shareholders be able to visit bank to sign in files personally.
（Ⅱ）Apply to incorporated outside Hong Kong, and its business away from Hong Kong and is not registered as foreign companies Ltd.:
1．The information for opening an account:
　1．1．Company Registration Certificate Counterpart ( or Company Name Changing Certificate)
　1．2．The entrusted list of first director and company secretary and other resolution to amend.
　1．3．Certificate that issued by company registration attorney or company director、shareholder certificate.
　1．4．Director、shareholder、authorized person should provide following documents:
　　1．5．1．Shareholder、director’s ID Card(Passports or laissez-passer Between Hong Kong and Macau),if registered by ID Card ,you must bring the original ones ( please make sure that the ID Card is not expired)
　　1．5．2. Nationality Certificate ( such as passport counterpart)
